The “Stevan Jorgović” Library organized its first Summer Reading Challenge for Youth this summer, designed for children and teenagers aged 6 to 15. The goal of the program was to encourage young readers to discover new worlds through books.

The most dedicated readers of this year’s challenge were Stefan Kovačević and Stefan Tišma. They received their awards from Father Vladimir Vranić and the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Canada, H.E. Dejan Ralević, during a special ceremony held as part of the Serbian Days Festival.

We thank all participants and are pleased to announce that the Reading Challenge will continue throughout the year. For every five books read, young readers will receive a keychain of their choice.
