Rules and Regulations

 

  • When registering at the library a user is required to provide personal information by bringing a photo ID and proof of address. Membership is free. In order to improve its collection, the library gratefully accepts donations.

  • The penalty for exceeding the time limit per book per day is $ 0.50. ( Or $ 3,5 per week)

  • To facilitate the availability of library materials to as many users as possible, members will be permitted to borrow a maximum of 3 documents (3 books or 2 books and 1 disk) for a maximum of 4 weeks.

  • The loan period may be extended only once for another 4 weeks, i.e. 8 weeks in total. If you wish to renew borrowed documents, IT IS IMPORTANT TO CONTACT THE LIBRARY BEFORE THE DUE DATE. We will not respond to requests received after the due date. User will be responsible to pay late fees  in full before permitted to borrow again.

  • Users are responsible for the security of borrowed library materials. Parents or guardians are responsible for all materials borrowed by minors. If a disk case is broken, kindly replace it for the next user to enjoy.

  • A user is required to replace lost or damaged books / disks
    • - with the same or
    • - substitute for another book / disk in consultation with the librarian
    • or
    • - pay compensation for the estimated replacement cost.
