1. General Provisions
The “Stevan Jorgović” Library (hereinafter: the Library) is open to all users who agree to comply with these regulations.
The Library is managed by a librarian appointed by the Serbian Church and School Congregation (SCSC).
The Library’s working hours and contact information are available on the official website.
2. Membership and Library Use
To register as a member, prospective users must provide personal information and present a valid photo ID with an address.
Membership and the use of library materials are free of charge.
Minors may become members with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Borrowing Materials
Users may borrow up to 3 items (e.g., 3 books, or 2 books and 1 disc) at a time.
The borrowing period is 4 weeks, with a one-time renewal for an additional 4 weeks.
Renewals must be requested before the original due date, via message or email.
Late returns incur a fee of $0.50 per day per item ($3.50 per week).
Users must settle all outstanding fees before borrowing additional materials.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for returning borrowed materials in the same condition as when borrowed.
For materials borrowed by minors, the parent or guardian is held accountable.

The Library gratefully accepts donations of books, and other relevant materials.
All donations must be discussed with the librarian beforehand.
The librarian reserves the right to assess the suitability and value of donated items for the Library’s collection.
The Library does not accept duplicate titles already in its holdings, nor items in poor physical condition (e.g., worn, torn, stained, or heavily marked books).

Donations are not automatically included in the collection — donated items may be used for exchange, gifts, or removal, depending on the Library’s needs.
6. Conduct in the Library
Quiet behavior, respect for other users, and for library staff are expected at all times.
Food and drinks are not allowed in the library.
Use of mobile phones for voice calls is prohibited.
7. Protection of Personal Data
The personal information of library members is stored in accordance with data protection regulations and is used solely for internal records.
8. Final Provisions
The Library reserves the right to amend these regulations. Users will be notified in a timely manner of any changes
