It is our great pleasure to announce that our project "Jezikovanje", which was financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, has been completed. A total of 15 workshops were held during the duration of the the project, in which children learned all 30 letters of the Cyrillic alphabet. From week to week, we welcomed actors, language teachers, painters, graphic designers, scientists, pilots, educators, doctors, librarians, who introduced the children to the Serbian language through different approaches and taught them two Cyrillic letters. Each class was followed by interesting exercises related to the lecturers’ profession.
To experience a bit of how we got together, laughed, discovered the charms of the Cyrillic alphabet and the Serbian language, please see in the short video.
After the winter break, the school will continue to operate on March 15 and will continue until the end of April. The focus of the classes will be on mastering reading and we encourage our students to read and choose stories during the holidays that they would like to share with us in class.
Let us remind you that within "Jezikovanje", three workshops were held entitled: "Learn how to present your excellence", which we will repeat if there is interest.
We would also like to share with you the good news that the "Jezikovanje" program for 2020-21 is already prepared. We are looking forward to it and we believe that it will be at least as interesting as this year's if not more than.
Finally, on behalf of the entire "Jezikovanje" team, we would like to first thank our children, program participants, and then all of you who in any way contributed to the implementation of the program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia (Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora), the Holy Trinity Serbian Church-School Congregation and Father George.
